The Certified Personal Trainer course is designed for people who are interested in a career in fitness or those who want to train for improved personal fitness and exercise performance. At the conclusion of this qualification, you will have gained the required skills and knowledge to undertake work as a Group Exercise Instructor AND Personal Trainer.

Once you have viewed all of the online learning resources, you can then attempt the Final Examination, which consists of 85 multiple-choice and short written response questions.

After successfully completing the Final Exam, students will then be able to book into the 3-Day Workshop located at Good Juju Barbell Club in Kuala Lumpur, where they’ll put their knowledge into practice in a real gym environment covering Client Screening & Assessment, Group Exercise Programming & Instruction, 1:1 Personal Training and more.
Over the three days, you’ll have the chance to ask critical questions, build connections with others entering the fitness industry and get 1:1 mentoring from experienced PTs.
At the conclusion of the Workshop, you’ll be fully qualified and ready to enter the industry as a fitness professional.

There are 7 sections in the Certificate as follows:
The course has been designed to be completed in 2 to 4 months, commencing whenever suits you. The hours of study are flexible and you can fit it in around other commitments.
There are no minimum timeframes which means you can work through it as quickly as you like. You have up to 6 months to complete the Certificate if needed.
Students are required to complete a Basic Occupational First Aid & CPR/EAD course recognised by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia. The first aid qualification should be completed within the last 3 years.
